STOP PRESS - 1936 COCA-COLA CANS APEARED!

Until now there was only one bad pic of 32 oz Coca-Cola cone top can form 1936 at Coke Can History. But, thinking she was only taking low interest pic at Design Museum at Pathersol, Belgium. How many people saw these cans and noted nothing is amazing. Thanks to "loic4467" whoever she or he is, for sharing this historical rescue picture. I'm sharing with you at maximum resolution availlable. Clic on pic to open very big size.

At this moment we can't say that Coca-Cola really marketed its product in these cans somewere, or these are really only test market cans. As we know, many times in history, Coca-Cola depolyed strange packs, bottles and cans, locally, in small or medium cittys to test the accpetance and the produtction system for this specific pack. Almost all of them did no entered in the market after test period.

Coke-Pepsi Ghost Sign, a photo by pantone356 on Flickr.

There’s no shortage of Coke ghost signs in the city and this one resides on the side of a brownstone on the corner of Rutland Square and Columbus Ave in the South End. Strangely enough it’s paired up with another aging painted sign on the same wall – a vintage logo of longtime rival Pepsi. (#86 of 100 in the Boston Signage Project)
