Together with WWF and people like you, Coca-Cola is helping to establish a safe refuge for the polar bear—a goal that will require working with local communities, supporting research and carrying out additional conservation work. As part of this initiative, Coca-Cola has created Arctic Home, our biggest effort to date to protect the polar bear and its habitat. Coca-Cola has pledged $2 million to help fund the creation of a safe refuge and—with your help—we can do even more. In that spirit, we have also agreed to match up to $1 million of consumer donations made through Arctic Home by March 15, 2012.

Manhattan has many famous landmarks, tourist attractions, museums, and universities. It is also home to the headquarters of the United Nations. It is the center of New York City and the New York metropolitan region, hosting the seat of city government and a large portion of the area's employment, business, and entertainment activities. As a result, residents of New York City's other boroughs such as Brooklyn and Queens often refer to a trip to Manhattan as "going to the city", despite the comparable populations between those boroughs.
